Ben Schwartz is a dynamic and versatile a cappella performer from Boston, MA, with many years of experience in vocal performance and leadership. A former Kolot Hayam Champion with the Gann Academy Shenaniganns, Ben has showcased his talents as both a vocalist and beatboxer with The Vassar Devils in 2019, and was featured in videos with NOVEM A Cappella during the COVID lockdown. As president of Aural Pleasure A Cappella, Ben led the group to a third-place finish at the 2023 ICCA South Region Quarterfinals, and is heard beatboxing on multiple group albums that can be found on all streaming platforms. He was also featured in an episode of the Hulu series, Tell Me Lies, covering Lady Marmalade from “Moulin Rouge”. His passion for a cappella continues to grow as he currently performs with the national award winning Jewish a cappella group BerKalit, and he is thrilled to be returning to Kolot Hayam for another year.
