Jack Teicher:
Jack is thrilled to return to Kolot Hayam, where he can combine many of his passions while working with the most fun and creative group of people!
Jack’s foray into the world of culinary arts began at Camp Ramah Nyack. As a high school student, he began working as a server and quickly realized the intersection of art and science in creating food and dining experiences. Jack’s personal favorite food groups are cholent and mac and cheese, but he enjoys creating and eating all different kinds of food!
After working for two years as a server at Ramah, Jack was promoted to “Rosh Chadar,” in which he began managing the dining experience for over a thousand people daily while overseeing servers for five meals every day. Jack is continuing to explore his love of science at The University of Miami and is majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
Jack is so excited to bring his creativity and love of logistics and leadership to Kolot Hayam once again. After being introduced to Kolot Hayam as a high school student, Jack is continuing his journey as a Kolot leader and will also be overseeing our Kolot Council. Jack is a Kolot superfan and can’t wait to hear the students break out into song at every meal!
